RajMahal’s story began with a dream, a spice rack, and a deep-rooted love for authentic Indian flavors. Our founder and Executive Chef, Raj, was born in the scenic hills of Uttarakhand, India, and trained in the vibrant kitchens of Bombay. Inspired from a young age by the bold aromas of Indian home kitchens, he carried his passion across continents, working in fine dining restaurants before bringing his vision to Kansas.

In 2015, that vision came to life with the opening of RajMahal in Olathe. What started as a neighborhood restaurant quickly grew into a local favorite, celebrated for its warmth, hospitality, and flavorful North Indian cuisine crafted with elegance and consistency.

Now, after nearly a decade of serving the community, RajMahal has entered an exciting new chapter in the heart of the Prairiefire district of Overland Park. This move isn’t just about a new address, it’s about elevating the entire RajMahal experience. The new space blends the richness of Indian tradition with a modern, upscale vibe, offering bold new bar bites, handcrafted cocktails, refined service, and open-air patio dining.
